Support the integration initiative border between Costa Rica and Panama, through the border crossing at Paso Canoas, in order to promote maximum use of the platform of foreign trade of both countries and their connection to Mesoamerica and the northern markets ensuring the smooth flow of trade and people, and providing security to the supply chain through a standard process, unified border, infrastructure and equipment to respond to it and the exchange of information between enforcement agencies and operators to provide coordinated and effective actions at the border.
