RG-T2041 : Strengthening Regional Trade through Free Trade Zones in LAC

General Objective: To develop knowledge both on the status of Free Trade Zones (FTZs) in Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC), and policy options for improving the benefits that these zones may offer for trade in developing countries in the region. Specific Objectives: (i) Update knowledge on specific aspects of Free Trade Zones and current and future challenges for improving them as tools for export promotion and investment attraction; and (ii) Organize a workshop to discuss and disseminate the findings of the studies and foster discussion and analysis.
