Climate Change Adaptation Plans - Water Sector

The general objective of the proposed KCP is the development of a portfolio of adaptation experiences that would allow the IADB to respond to requirements and needs of its member countries in establishing specific policies of adaptation to climate change with respect to impacts on water resources in the region. The proposed approach to develop these adaptation experiences is to craft four models of adaptation for basins that are vulnerable to: (i) droughts/desertification, (ii) glaciar melt runoff, (iii) sea level rise and (iv) increased hydrologic extremes.
