Road Safety

The objective of the KCP is to leverage this network to create a facility designed to support the fundamentals of the Bank¿s Road Safety Initiative with specific instruments designed for the private sector network (the ¿Facility¿). The objective would not differ from the overall Bank objective embodied in the RSI in ¿¿Encouraging a transformative process in LAC promoting Road Safety activities to reduce the occurrence, severity and consequences of road traffic accidents in a permanent and sustainable way...¿ However, the objective of the Facility would be to provide targeted assistance for private sector actors seeking to push the envelope on these issues.
