RG-T1911 : Controlling Risky Sex,Drugs, and Violence Reducing risks for the next generation
Project Status: Closed
The objective of this KCP is to contribute to the production of operational and technical knowledge on at risk youth prevention interventions, which in turn will enhance the capacity of policy makers in the region and of the Bank in the design of enhanced operational products. Under the proposed KCP, an independent systematic review of the evidence base for at-risk youth behavior will be conducted. This review will define the criteria for the quality of an evaluation study and the strength of evidence for a particular intervention. Based on these criteria and a set of rigorous standards that an evaluation must meet in order for a program to be considered effective, an evidence based systematic review will be produced. Finally and taking into consideration the available evidence a meta-analysis research will be considered to systematize interventions effects.
