The objective of this KCP is to support fiscal and debt policy analysis and strengthen the capacity of governments to manage public debt and contingent liabilities, through the consolidation of a database on sovereign debt in Latin America and the Caribbean, the development of a template for the measurement and arrangement of contingent liabilities, the execution of studies on the analysis of public debt and contingent liabilities, and the training of debt managers in the collection and analysis of debt statistics and fiscal risks.
