RG-T1871 : Strengthening to IDB support to carbon finance services

Objective: The objective of this KCP is to enhance the knowledge on emerging areas of carbon finance (CF) in order to strengthen and diversify the Bank¿s platform for the delivery of CF services to clients in the public and private sectors. Specific objectives: (i) Prepare the Bank to deliver CF services in emerging mechanisms such as voluntary markets, corporate greenhouse gas (GHG) accounting, programmatic approaches, nationally appropriate mitigation actions (NAMAs), and market instruments for climate change mitigation at the national and sub-national level; and, (ii) Strengthen the platform for the delivery of CF services, increasing IDB¿s responsiveness to client¿s requests and ensuring the quality and relevance of the services provided.
