RG-T1835 : Carbon Finance Knowledge Network

The goal of this TC is to establish a Spanish-language web platform to facilitate information exchange about tools, technologies, standards, and financial mechanisms of climate change, including CDM and voluntary carbon markets (VCM). Another goal is to promote interaction among key actors in the region to promote options for overcoming the barriers associated with the lack of, or difficulties to access, knowledge, and experience in the region on the subject in both the public and private sectors. The specific objective of this TC is to support the public and private sectors in LAC in their efforts to increase its participation and use of existing financial mechanisms at the national, regional, and international level, as well as to deepen its knowledge, build best capacities, and broaden interaction with other relevant actors in Bank member countries and at the international level.
