Connected Parliaments: Impact of New Technologies in the Transformation of the

The primary objective of this technical cooperation (TC) is to better understand how new technologies can be an effective tool in the transformation of LAC Parliaments, specifically in three different areas: (1) the strengthening of institutional capacity and improvement of the efficiency and transparency of the legislative process; (2) providing better access to legislative information and improving the process of making laws; and (3) improving citizens¿ access to information and the interaction with their representatives, thus promoting legislators¿ accountability and citizen participation in the legislative process.
