RG-T1758 : Support to Latin American and the Caribbean Debt Management Specialists Group

The main objective of the Program is to consolidate a debt management network that promotes dialogue, communication, and an expeditious, permanent and continuous exchange of information between debt management specialists in Latin America and the Caribbean, through support to the activities of the LAC Debt Group. As a result, it is expected to contribute to the institutional strengthening and the improvement of public debt management, and to provide Government specialists with better tools that allow them to mitigate the effects of the financial crisis on debt management and on financial markets development. The support will also allow the Bank to position among other organisms in the region as a promoter of economic development and financial sector fortification.
