This project aims to describe urban housing markets in the largest metropolitan areas of each country; to conduct an empirical analysis of determinants of the housing market, distinguishing between the demand and the supply side factors; and to investigate the importance of the housing market for the business cycle and the occurrence and severity of financial crisis in LAC countries.
