Innovation for Local Economic Development
The general objective is to determine the feasibility of projects that will support innovation in Small Enterprises, taking into account the characteristics of the geographic territory in which the enterprises are located. The identification of new projects will be conducted by taking into account the experiences of selected Local Competitiveness MIF projects currently under implementation. In addition, this technical cooperation (TC) will focus on identifying strategies and best practices in technological innovation to be applied in relatively less developed areas. Projects¿ identification will take place in several Latin American countries, giving priority to the Central American and Andean ones.
