Customs Capacity Building in LAC

The objective of the project is to advance the implementation of the regional capacity building Working Plan of the WCO by supporting priority activities of the Regional Office for Capacity Building of the Americas and Caribbean Region (ROCB) in Buenos Aires. The first specific objective is to perform comprehensive diagnosis of customs administrations and to develop action plans for four countries of the LAC region. The second specific objective is to identify relevant topics, develop best practice studies and disseminate them in international gatherings in the LAC region to increase awareness and spread the knowledge of proven best practices in customs and trade facilitation programs.
