Workshop on Integrated Water Resource Management and Solid Waste Management

The specific objectives of the training are: a) to provide further training to water and solid waste management specialists from national agencies within the region clarifying the main issues regarding water resource management and solid waste management, and providing a common understanding among the specialists setting the basis for an action-plan; b) to share experiences among the different participants regarding integrated water resource management and solid waste management programs implemented with Bank assistance within the region; c) to provide technicians with practical tools for assessing the relative performance of a given technical solution; d) to learn from the experience of other regions; f) to identify further technical assistance and training needs.
