Regional Facility for the Development of Insurance Programs I

The main objective of this Program is to support the development of parametric disaster risk insurance facilities for two COSEFIM member countries by financing the first phase of the RIFDP. The goal of this first phase is to design an operational proposal for the development of disaster risk insurance facilities in two COSEFIM member countries. The proposal shall include parametric models and insurance policies for natural disaster risk for the two countries, as well as the corresponding institutional vehicles.
