CARICOM - Fostering Priv Sec Compet. in a more Open and Integrated Market
The general objective of the project is to foster Caribbean private sector competitiveness in both regional and global markets, through more effective market integration and improvements in the regional business environment. The specific objectives are: a) to improve the quality and quantity of economic infrastructure and logistics services by strengthening the policy, regulatory and institutional framework for Public Private Partnerships (PPP) in Caribbean countries, and b) to review current issues and policy recommendations for the remaining obstacles of full intra-regional market liberalization trade facilitation within the CSME, and implementation challenges of CARICOM's external common tariff.
