ECOMICRO - Green Finance for MSMEs and Low-Income Households: The EcoMicro Program

The goal of this Program is to facilitate the use of green finance by MSMEs and low income people to increase access to clean and efficient energy products and services or assist adaptation to climate change. The purpose of the Program is to train MFIs to provide new green finance instruments so that they can capitalize on new opportunities in clean energy financing, while adjusting their risk management models to climate change risk, and adopting clean energy and energy efficiency standards to decrease their own contribution to climate change.
