RG-M1203 : ROLLING OUT PSYCHOMETRIC TOOL FOR EXPANDING SMALL BUSINESS FINANCE

The general objective of the project is to increase access to finance of small enterprises in LAC. The specific objective is to roll out the psychometric credit scoring tool with new applicants of four financial institutions in different countries of LAC. Entrepreneurial Finance Lab (EFL) developed a unique approach that uses psychometric assessments as a viable low-cost, automated screening tool to identify growth-oriented SME and entrepreneurs, and evaluate their risks. The use of psychometric screening tools of entrepreneurial ability and honesty has huge potential to unlock large-scale bank finance for SMEs in LAC as well as in other developing countries.
