RG-M1170 : Competitive integration of the border region between PR, BO and BR

Mato Grosso do Sul (MS) is one of the 27 federal units in Brazil. United to the state of Mato Grosso until 1979, MS is located in the Midwest macroregión of that country, bordering important producers and consumers states in Brazil: Minas Gerais, São Paulo and Paraná. It also has borders with two countries, Bolivia and Paraguay, it is on routes to the markets for Argentina, through the del Plata River basin, and has access to the Atlantic Ocean and the Pacific through the South Interoceanic Road Corridor . The general objective of the Project is to promote sustainable economic development in the region taking advantage of its status of a border region as an opportunity for expansion of productive and institutional relations. The specific objective is to develop joint actions to promote competitiveness and the strengthening of the small and medium enterprises (SMEs) from the strengthening of public-private partnerships.
