RG-M1118 : Organization of Sustainable Tourism in the Trifinio Region

The Goal of the project is to improve quality of products and services provided by tourism SMEs' located in the "Trifinio" Region, in Guatemala, El Salvador and Honduras, resulting in enhanced competitiveness. The purpose of this project is establishing a sustainable tourism value-chain and positioning the Trifinio Tourism Route, strengthening the SME's entrepreneurial capabilities and achieving an orderly and consensus-based "trinational' development, based on each country's national tourism policy. Technical assistance, training experience exchange, bets practices advisory services will be provided to achieve the project's objective. The components are: 1) Supply-Demand analysis and Strategic Planning; 2) Training of population and Human resources, and Environmental and Cultural Sustainability; 3) Institutional strengthening; 4) Imaging, Promotion and Marketing.
