Immigrant Remittance Corridors

The general objective of this project is to contribute to the deepening of Mexico and El Salvador's financial systems by broadening their scope and access to rural areas through a systematic link between remittance transfers and financial intermediation. The specific objective of this project is to enable transnational financial corridors between the United States and both Mexico and El Salvador.
