Development of the Mesoamerican Information Highway of the PPP

The project's general objective is to increase the availability and lower the cost of broadband connectivity among Mesoamerican countries and between them and the rest of the world by making greater use of ICTs (information and communication technologies). The specific objective is to support development of the Mesoamerican Information Highway (AMI), its broadband infrastructure being a prerequisite for improving Mesoamerican connectivity.
