RG-L1040 : DEVELOPING THE BASE OF THE PYRAMID'S PRODUCTIVE

The objective of this project is to promote the competitiveness of small producers at the base of the pyramid by strengthening the production chains of small and medium-sized anchor companies8 in the agricultural, agroindustrial, manufacturing and tourism sectors of Bolivia, Nicaragua, Guatemala, Honduras, Dominican Republic, Peru, Paraguay, El Salvador, and Colombia. This project is expected to have a positive demonstration effect on access to long-term financing, which enhances the role of the SME sector in regional economies as a driver of the development of small producers who are at the base of the pyramid and are part of their supply and production chains.
