The project's objective is to provide funding and technical assistance for the introduction of renewable energy generation (a concept that neither banks nor micro finance institutions are funding in the region). The channeling of funds would be made through the strengthening of a second-tier fund managed by the Foundation from Honduras Jose Maria Covelo (Covelo "), which will create a line of funding for microfinance in Central America (Honduras, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Guatemala and Panama) for the introduction of renewable energy systems Tecnosol Company.
