Support for the Sustainability of Investments in the Drinking Water and Sanitation Program for Small Cities and Rural and Indigenous Communities II

The general objective of the Technical Cooperation (TC) is to support the preparation and initial implementation of the Third Water and Sanitation Program for Rural and Indigenous Communities and Small Towns in Paraguay with an Emphasis on Sustainability (PR-L1206), through the financing of design and pre-investment studies, as well as institutional capacity-building activities. The specific objectives are: (i) To develop and/or update the technical, environmental, institutional, social, and economic studies for the projects included in the sample, as well as for other projects to be financed by the Program; (ii) To strengthen the capacities of the Loan Executing Unit during the preparation and initial implementation phase, through activities and studies that address the integration of community service providers and the application of innovative tools for the management and supervision of the Program and its projects.
