Adoption of New Agricultural Technologies for Small Producers in Paraguay

The purpose of the proposed project is to contribute to the increase in income of small producers of soybeans and other products that are associated with Cooperativa Colonias Unidas. The project will test a model that begins as a small-scale pilot, testing in two cycles of 130 farmers and who have crops with an average of 20 hectares. In a second phase, Colonicas Unidas would seek to scale the model to its 3,700 associated farmers, as well as replicate it in other associated cooperatives in the country, through the union of which it is an active part, such as the Federation of Production Cooperatives (Fecoprod).
