PR-M1025 : Fruit and Vegetable Farming as an Opportunity for Access to High-value Markets

Project Status: Closed

The fruit-horticultural project will develop a wider range of products through training and implementation of quality systems of those farmers in the departments of Central, Cordillera, Caaguazú, south of San Pedro, Paraguarí North and South-East of President Hayes. These producers will be coordinated through the Mercado de Abasto Norte company with interest in developing a supply chain and a network of technical assistance covering the process from farm to consumer in order to provide an attractive product, offered in supermarkets and to the local population.
