IDB | Expansion of the High-voltage Transmission System

The general objective of the second operation is to contribute to the economic development of the country through a reliable and efficient electricity supply. The specific objectives are: (i) to support improvements in the reliability and efficiency of the high-voltage transmission system; (ii) promote the optimization of the transmission system through technological updating; and (iii) support the sustainable development of the Paraguayan electricity sector through gender equality and diversity.
