Support for the National Care System's consolidation in Panama

The objective of the Technical Cooperation (TC) is to support the formulation of the Program to Support the Expansion of the Care System in Panama (PN-L1196) through the generation of technical inputs to ensure a design that is appropriately tailored to the needs of consolidating the Care System in Panama. In this context, the TC will support: (i) the architectural, functional, and operational design of a new care center modality that combines childcare services, care for frailty and prevention of functional decline for older adults, together with job training services for women caregivers; (ii) a diagnosis of compliance with quality standards in Comprehensive Care Centers for Older Adults and a proposal for their strengthening; and (iii) the update of the Day Center care model to expand coverage to currently underserved populations.
