Support for financial structuring to increase access to potable water
The general objective of this Technical Cooperation (TC) is to strengthen IDAAN's institutional capacity to structure financial solutions that increase access to drinking water services in Panama. The specific objectives of the TC are: (i) to support the design and implementation of an IDB guarantee aimed at facilitating the financing of strategic projects in this sector; and (ii) to strengthen the financial and legal aspects required for structuring the guarantee, including the analysis of fiduciary, contractual, and risk allocation schemes that will improve its effectiveness and operational viability.
