Support for the development of mass transportation projects in Panama City - Extension of the Panama Metro Lines and San Miguelito Aerial Cable
The objective of this Technical Cooperation (TC) is to support the planning process of the master network of the Panama metro, updating in the first phase the socioeconomic and mobility database for the Metropolitan Area of Panama (Districts of Capira, Chorrera and Arraiján, in the province of Panamá Oeste, and the districts of Panamá, San Miguelito and Chepo, in the province of Panama), by carrying out a Mobility Survey that incorporates a new tool into conventional methodologies that uses data on the geographical position of mobile phone users.
