Strengthening of the agricultural sector of Panama (II)

The general objective is to contribute to the economic, social and environmental sustainability of the Panamanian agriculture. The specific objectives are to (i) achieve timely execution of PIASI (PN-L1166), through technical assistance and training to the Executing Agencies; (ii) deepen knowledge of the Panamanian agricultural sector, through specific studies, to facilitate informed decision taking, within the framework of the implementation of both PIASI and the new State Agri-Food Policy (PADE, for its acronym in Spanish); and (iii) improve the training for future professional integration of agricultural baccalaureate graduates.
