Supporting Indigenous Tourism Initiatives in Panama

The proposed KCP seeks to identify barriers and economic opportunities in the tourism sector for three indigenous groups in Panama that have potential and important assets in this sector ¿ the Ngobe Bugle, Kuna, and the Embera. The main objective of this KCP is to identify the economic potential of tourism in these three comarcas; to define specific projects to be undertaken, and to define strategies for financing in order to increase the incomes of these groups and to reduce poverty in their communities.
