Conditional Credit Line for Investment Projects (CCLIP) to Increase Access to Water and Sanitation Services Through Improved Financing Conditions
The general objective of this CCLIP is to improve access to water and sanitation services in Panama through the implementation of infrastructure projects, supported by a Credit Guarantee that ensures a payment scheme based on Work Progress Reports (WPRs). The specific objectives are: (i) effective mobilization of resources for the completion of construction and subsequent operation of water treatment and wastewater treatment plants; (ii) increasing reliable and sustainable access to drinking water and sanitation services in the areas of influence; and (iii) institutional strengthening for the proper financial management of payments through Work Progress Reports.
