PN-M1024 : Promotion of an Ecosystem Supportive of Women's Entrepreneurship and Businesses

This project will develop a comprehensive program to improve the business ecosystem for women in Panama by developing and implementing an integrated capacity building model. This project, the first of its kind in Panama, will expand the female entrepreneurial base by working with students at universities, strengthen a core of high-potential entrepreneurs to exercise a leadership role, increase the public awareness of the reality facing female entrepreneurs with the purpose to change the anti-women biased culture in the business world. The project will also aim to increase access to resources and business opportunities by working directly with financial institutions, government organizations and business associations. The project will share knowledge and lessons learned with organizations across Latin America and the Caribbean and in other developing regions.
