Support Program for Efficiency and Equity in Panama's Health System

The general objective of the first project is to improve access to health services and financial protection in health for the Panamanian population. The specific objectives are: (i) to reduce fragmentation and improve coordination between the Ministry of Health (MINSA) and the Social Security Fund (CSS); (ii) to increase efficiency in pharmaceutical spending and the supply chain; and(iii) to expand access to resilient essential health services in indigenous and rural areas.
