New Instruments for Social Housing
The objective of this Program is to extend the access of housing to low and moderate income groups, presently excluded, specially to the residents in urban zones through the provision from support to the Government: a) to develop new instruments and operative mechanisms that guarantee the effective access to these sectors; b) as pilot projects, to prove their effectiveness for their implantation at national scale; and c) to undertake technical assistance and institutional strengthening activities to support the effective transfer of these instruments and mechanisms and their experiences from pilot to national scale projects.
