Institutional Strengthening for Citizen Security in Peru
The objective of this Technical Cooperation (TC) is to strengthen the capacities of the Government of Peru, particularly the Ministry of the Interior (MININTER), the National Police of Peru (PNP), and the institutions that make up the criminal justice system, to prevent, investigate, and reduce crimes such as homicide, extortion, and other forms of organized crime. This will be achieved through strengthening criminal investigation capabilities, developing integrated information systems, implementing targeted territorial interventions, and enhancing the multisectoral governance of citizen security.
