Support for strengthening the Adaptive Social Protection system in Peru

The Technical Cooperation (TC) aims to strengthen the institutional, operational and financial foundations of Peru's Adaptive Social Protection (ASP) system, with the objective of advancing toward an anticipatory, scalable, and well-coordinated model in response to climate, economic, and social shocks. To this end, the TC seeks to: (i) conduct an analysis that complements the IDB's ASP system maturity assessment for Peru, identifying gaps in contingent financing, coverage, interoperability, and preparedness and response capacity to shocks; and (ii) propose alternatives to strengthen operational and digital instruments, enhance interoperability, and enable the timely and dynamic identification of vulnerable populations during crises.
