IDB | CANEF - Support to Strategic Sector Management of the Ministry of Energy and Mines of Peru (Phase 2)

The objective of the project is to continue supporting the Ministry of Energy and Mines (MINEM) of Peru in strengthening its strategic management capabilities, with emphasis on the challenges of productivity, sustainability and the generation of shared value. The project will finance the execution of activities aimed at: (i) implementing strategic planning activities of the Vice Ministry of Mining; (ii) support the creation and start-up of the Center for Convergence and Best Practices in the Mining-Energy sector, including the design of a long-term national vision for the mining sector; and (iii) support the MINEM's capacity building for the oil and gas sectors.
