Strengthening local management of citizen security in Peru
The main objective of this TC is to strengthen the institutional capacities of the Ministry of Interior, to stablish the necessary foundations for the implementation of the National Strategy for the Prevention of Crime and Violence. Specifically, this TC plans to develop policy management tools to: (i) improve coordination between local governments, the Ministry of the Interior and the National Police; (Ii) increase police capacity to carry out intelligence and crime investigation strategies; and (iii) improve systems for collecting, managing, and analyzing criminal statistics
