The operation's objective is to strengthen the Ministry of Environment (MINAM) as the institution in charge of leading and managing the national CC agenda and the international technical discussions as part of COP20. This forum is instrumental to achieve 1) an international legally-binding agreement to reduce emissions and stabilize climate; and 2) an agreement on the international financial architecture on climate.
