Comprehensive system for natural disaster risk management
The main objective of this operation is to support the development of a methodology for the implementation of a comprehensive system for natural disaster risk management which establishes, as a result, a prevention and mitigation plan for five urban areas in Peru. Possible financial risk transfer frameworks will be analyzed. A program for the difusion, communication and sensitization of disaster risk management techniques and results of the operation will be created focusing regional and local authorities and the general public. This operation support the integration of disaster risk management in the sustainable socio-economic planification process in the country.
