PE-M1094 : Preventing Violence Against Women through Microfinance

The overall objective of this TC is to replicate the IMAGE experience of South Africa in Peru and generate applied knowledge of effective methodologies to prevent and reduce VAW in LAC. The specific objective is to develop, evaluate, and disseminate a methodology for the prevention of VAW through microfinance in Peru that may be used as a reference for public-private policy in LAC. Among the expected results are the reduction in the prevalence of intimate partner violence and the reduction in the use of physical punishment on children in Peru.
