Improving SENASA's Agri-Food Safety Service
The general objective of the project is to contribute to improving the percentage of agricultural foods and feed that comply with the safety standards established in the national regulations of Peru, through an adequate provision of the SENASA agri-food safety surveillance and control service. The specific objectives are: (i) Improve the risk management capacity in surveillance and sanitary control of primary agricultural foods and feed by SENASA; (ii) Increase coverage and access to risk communication in agri-food safety with a focus on Behavioral Economics; and (iii) Adopt the official standard of Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) and Good Hygiene Practices (GHP) developed by SENASA.
