PE-L1170 : CONFIANZA: Finance for progressive construction of productive home

The project objective is to contribute reducing housing deficit in Peru, allowing BoP micro entrepreneurs access to financial solutions for progressive construction of productive housing. In order to achieve this objective, Financiera Confianza S.A.A. (CONFIANZA) has developed its "Construyendo Confianza" program, aimed to finance land acquisition as well as building and improvement for micro entrepreneurs properties that serve them as home and business. The Bank's Opportunities for the Majority Sector (OMJ) is proponing the approval of a US$ 10 million loan (or its PEN Equivalent) for CONFIANZA in order to support the expansion of the above-mentioned program.
