PE-L1121 : Development of a New Sustainable Energy Matrix Program IV

The program will support the development of a New Sustainable Energy Matrix (NSEM) that is based on a comprehensive approach to technical, economic, environmental, and social considerations and is consistent with Peru¿s development objectives, in order to maximize the benefit derived from energy resources in a sustainable manner. This is the fourth operation (NSEM IV) in a series of programmatic policy-based loans, whose objective is to provide continuity of support for the policy reforms and sector decisions envisioned in the program, including the formulation of subsector plans and implementation of other specific measures.
