NI-L1055 : Proposal for an additional financing of cost overruns for SIEPAC Project

The Additional Financing will support achieving the objectives of SIEPAC which are: (i) training and progressive enhancement of the MER, through the creation and establishment of appropriate legal, institutional (CRIE and EOR) and appropriate technical (Regional Coordination and Transaction), to facilitate private sector participation, particularly in the development of generation activities, and (ii) establishing electrical interconnection infrastructure (lines and substations) to facilitate the exchange of power between the participants in MER.
