San Jacinto-Tizate Community Water Rehabilitation Project

The general objective of the Project is to improve the access to and the quality of water to 680 households through the rehabilitation of the water infrastructure and the improvement of the operation and management of the water systems in San Jacinto and Ojochal. The specific objectives are to (i) strengthen and formalize the CAPSs, train the CAPSs to effectively manage, operate and maintain the water systems, and create an appropriate financial structure for the CAPSs to operate; (ii) design and construct the rehabilitation and expansion of the water systems; and (iii) reduce health risks and improve household and community sanitation.
