Program Essential Social Services
THE PROSSE HAS TWO MAIN OBJECTIVES: (I) PROTECT ESSENTIAL SOCIAL SERVICES FOR THE POOR IN THE AREAS OF EDUCATION AND BASIC HEALTH; AND (II) STRENGTHEN EXISTING SOCIAL SAFETY NET MEASURES ADOPTED BY THE GOVERNMENT THROUGH RETRAINING AND CREATION OF SHORT-TERM EMPLOYMENT FOR THE UNDEREMPLOYED AND UNEMPLOYED , AND NUTRITION PROGRAMS TARGETED TO VULNERABLE GROUPS IN THE POORREST AREAS.
